Believe this car was cared for before it was parked. All glass is good and chrome still shines.
The remaining exterior is original and still presentable with the usual dings and scratches.
Other than small areas behind front tires, rest of body and floor are solid. Patch panels for these are readily available. Body has rusty quarters that were repaired once long ago with sides of fenders repainted. Dash pad has the Ford "pucker".Įverything works except radio. Interior is mostly factory with new OEM carpet set, front seats with correct vinyl and stitching. Repairs include rebuilt transmission, complete brake system including metal lines, new gas tank, fuel pump and lines, carb rebuild, all new dual exhaust, radial tires, belts and hoses, heater core, water pump, front shocks, P.S. The motor not only survived but runs great! It is now a completely operational car that can be driven and enjoyed. Much mechanical work has been completed, most due to sitting for so long. This 1959 Baltic Blue/Colonial White "Squarebird" was rescued from a 30 YEAR garage sleep in 2012.
